Paragon ladies starred at the Cocoa Women's Pajama Pancake 10k this past Sunday. It was a cold and drizzling morning for the runners, but that didn't damper the fun or competition. The race takes runners through Downtown San Antonio, and finishers celebrate with chocolate and hot pancakes. We also celebrate first place finishes from Diana Ruderman and Emi Nix! Ruderman won the Masters division and Nix won the 20-29 division with a time of 44:30. Diana Toledo joined the celebrations, adding another 10k to her quickly growing running log.
Also this weekend, Carlos Torres traveled to Lyons, Colorado as part of the Pearl Izumi Ambador program. Enduring snow, mud, low temps, and high altitude, Torres raced the Old Man Winter Bike Rally and Run. As Torres said it, "The best experiences come from when you get out of your comfort zone and try something new!"
Make sure to send your pictures from training and racing to: racing@paragontraining.org so we can showcase all the rad stuff you guys do.
