A BQ for Decker

Congratulations to Travis Decker, who qualified for the Boston Marathon! Decker raced the Colorado Marathon in the Fort Collins area on Sunday. He won fourth place overall, and his fast-paced 2:43 finish landed him a slot at Boston.

Team Paragon athletes Hal Candland and Carlos Torres raced Ironman 70.3 St. George this past Saturday. Both in very competitive fields, Candland finished his FIRST Ironman 70.3, placing 34th in his age group, and Torres placed 28th in his age group. This race was the North American Pro Championship, and it brought out the best, featuring Lionel Sanders and Paula Findlay for the wins.

Albert Villarreal is tackling his triathlon dreams step by step. This past weekend, he completed his first triathlon at The Rookie Tri in Austin. The race is a 300m swim, 11mi bike, and 2mi run. Nice work toward your goal of completing an Ironman 70.3!

Paragon Training also celebrates our first Splash & Dash race of the season. 53 of San Antonio's youth - ages 5 to 17 - swam and ran their way to the finish line on Sunday. It is a great way to get kids involved in something active - and we have a lot of fun!

The series is presented by our title sponsor, Kathleen O'Shea, Realtor.

Get your kids and join us for the next race on June 3rd! Register here.
