Paragon Races Lubbock

It was a beautiful weekend of racing. Seven of our athletes were out pushing the pace and giving it their all while representing Team Paragon and strengthening friendships.

Ironman 70.3 Lubbock

Six athletes competed on Ironman 70.3 Lubbock's new course and it seemed to have positive ratings. This course featured a 'self-seeding' swim start, a few good climbs on the bike, and a flat, hot run lacking shade. Carlos Torres, Raul Correa, Alfonso Campa, Aldo Valverde, and Bryan Knipfer raced the 70.3 while Diana Ruderman competed in the Aquabike. She is currently nursing a hamstring strain, and although she was singed up for the 70.3 she decided it was best to take it easy and only swim 1.2 miles and bike 56. You know, taking it easy.

Tri for Old Glory

Fernando Sanchez raced locally last weekend, but unfortunately it was cut short. It seems as though the bike segment was canceled and, therefore, Fernando was only able to complete the swim.
