Your plan got me thorough the impossible!! From zero triathlons, hardly cycling experience, one half marathon and ok+ swimming, I finished the Helsingor 70.3 in an awesome time and more important; not injured, smiling and loving every minute of the journey! Thanks for being my buddy, I learned so much while sticking to the plan and unlocking new achievements. the final reward was more than words can describe :). Super recommended!
I returned to triathlons after a decade away and decided to jump back in with my first 70.3. This plan was perfect for helping me set reasonable goals at the ideal intensity for me, while fitting all the training into my busy lifestyle. I can’t recommend it highly enough! I look forward to my next plan to train for my first full Ironman.
In 5 months this plan brought me from a 3:30 olympic distance time to a 5:33 half-iron distance time. I put in the work completing most of the plan as suggested, but I followed the plan to a T. Dialing in on heart rate for bike and run, and RPE for the swim. (If you don't know what that means, I didn't either beforehand. The plan explains everything well). The email response time from coaches was roughly 24-48 hours but they always got back to me and were plenty of help. I'd recommend this plan to someone who hasn't done half distance before, and its safe to say I already bought my next plan. (Full distance intermediate). Thank you Paragon.
I'm a novice triathlete. I used this plan to train for my first 70.3. When I began I couldn't swim more than 25 yards without resting. I don't have a bike computer so I used the suggested heart rate zones to build endurance. The hydration and nutrition suggestions were a added bonus. This plan worked well for me and was far more affordable than paying for a coach.
